Current Event #12: Chair Lift Accident
On February 13, there was another accident that happened. It had taken the life of a 46-year-old man from New Jersey. He was skiing on a chairlift and his coat had wrapped around his head and neck of the chair lift according to the company that operates the chair lifts. He fell through an opening in the seat and was caught with his coat wrapped around his head and neck. The Chair was in an upright position and it caused him to fall through when he sat down. I think that the worker should add something so that it will be safer to be on. There should also be a way to prevent this type of stuff from happening too. I couldn’t imagine how the guy felt being in this situation. I feel bad for the family of this man and what they have to deal with now. Hopefully, they will make it safer and make people happier when they are using it.
